US Airways Adding Non-Stops to Washington, D.C.
Beginning March 25, US Airways will offer three new non-stop flights from Memphis to Washington, D.C.’s downtown Reagan National Airport as part of the first phase of a plan to expand their network and focus on its core service areas.
“These new non-stop flights will be a great enhancement to Memphis travelers’ choices to the D.C. market,” said Memphis Airport President & CEO Larry D. Cox. “The airline’s service currently requires passengers to connect through its hub in Charlotte, NC. The additional competition will also give the opportunity for some better fares in this important Memphis market.”
The airline will use 50-seat Bombardier CRJ-200 regional jets on the route. The schedule is:
