Arnold and Mary Lynn Perl Parkway Unveiled
Memphis International Airport and Memphis community leaders gathered on April 9 for the official unveiling of the signage designating the honorary naming of Plough Boulevard as Arnold and Mary Lynn Perl Parkway.
In January, Memphis city officials, including the entire council and the mayor, representatives of the Memphis chamber, business leaders, airport leadership, friends and family gathered in the council chambers for the presentation of the proclamation to honor Arnold Perl and his wife Mary Lynn for their outstanding service to the city. |
The Perls were joined by Mayor AC Wharton (far left), Councilmen Harold Collins and Kemp Conrad (resolution sponsor), and Grizz (the mascot for the Memphis Grizzlies) at the unveiling ceremony for the honorary parkway naming.
