Roadway Improvements Are Finished

Passengers traveling to the Airport this holiday season can enjoy a smooth, construction-free drive around the Airport as the roadway project is now complete. For the last year, visitors to Memphis International Airport have patiently followed the frequently changing directional signs as we restructured the Inbound Roadway System.

The new inbound roadway has three lanes and eliminates a traffic signal and intersection, making the trip to the terminal more convenient for immediate passenger drop-off and pick-up. The new signage makes driving around the Airport easier. All signs leading towards the terminal are blue, while all signs leading away from the terminal are green. New electronic LED message signs have been installed on the bottom of the blue and green directional signs. Once these signs are operational they will provide up-to-date parking and roadway conditions and security information.
