Welcome to the Memphis - Shelby County Airport Authority where customer service is our number one priority!! Our vision is to be a "world class" airport. As an aviation leader - we are committed and focused on meeting and exceeding the needs and the expectations of our passengers and guests. We are dedicated to making our airport the most convenient and the most desirable possible!!

A customer service program has been initiated by the Airport Authority to increase the satisfaction level of air travelers using Memphis International Airport. With this program we will endeavor to improve service at every stage of the travel experience - from the moment of deplaning the aircraft until exiting the parking lot. The Airport Authority's efforts will create a seamless customer service effect. Gwen Pritchard, Director of Customer Service and her staff have developed a program which will deliver the highest quality of service possible.

This year we began using Volunteer Airport Ambassadors to assist passengers with information for your traveling needs. This group is headed by Ruth Greene, Volunteer Program Administrator. The Ambassadors can be identified by their uniforms of white shirts, khaki trousers, blue suede shoes - They are carrying a clipboard, and wearing a blue sweater with the BLUE SUEDE SERVICE logo. They will assist you with information to use while in the airport and in the Memphis - Mid South Region. They will help you find play stations, food locations, and help with answers to questions regarding your business needs while in our airport. You may look to our volunteers to help in interpreting over 140 languages.
